At our school, technology is a powerful tool that supports high-quality learning, enhances our students' digital competencies, and prepares them for the future as ethical and globally-minded citizens. Our aim is to foster sustainable learning environments that promote interdisciplinary projects, creative thinking, and teamwork. With a mission to cultivate individuals who not only use technology but also learn to develop it, we guide our students on their lifelong learning journeys.
· Academic Programs
Our academic programs are designed to help students become responsible, ethical, and effective users of technology. Beginning in preparatory grades, our Computer Science courses equip students with foundational skills in the digital world, focusing on developing algorithmic thinking. Students learn to view technology not just as a tool, but as a platform for innovative problem-solving.
As part of the IB Diploma Programme, the Digital Society course offered in grades 11 and 12 allows students to analyze technology in depth and examine its societal impact. This course provides opportunities to explore the social, economic, and ethical dimensions of digital technologies. It also lays a strong academic foundation for students who plan to pursue higher education in technology-related fields. Digital Society empowers students not only to use technology but also to understand and shape its future.
These programs help students continuously build their digital skills throughout their school life, preparing them to face the technological and societal challenges of the modern world.
· Educational Technology
Our school embraces a modern educational approach that integrates technology into every stage of the learning process. Through our BYOAD (Bring Your Own Apple Device) program, all students participate in lessons using their Apple tablets or computers. This approach keeps students in touch with current technology, while also boosting engagement and academic performance.
Since the pandemic, we have continued to make active use of online learning environments. Through the BlackBoard platform, which is widely used by universities, all course materials are digitally shared with students. This system allows students who miss a class to easily keep up and ensures continuous access to resources that support their learning.
Our teachers deliver lessons using Apple computers and interactive smart boards in our classrooms. In subjects like Math, Science, and Social Studies, smart boards foster an interactive learning environment, enabling dynamic content sharing and more transparent and effective instruction.
Additionally, our school’s internet access is strictly filtered and monitored to ensure student safety and well-being. Harmful websites and applications are blocked to provide a secure digital learning space.
These technological foundations and innovative approaches ensure that our students have a safe, engaging, and forward-thinking learning experience, preparing them to thrive in the digital world of tomorrow.
