The ACI Guidance Department supports students’ academic, social, and emotional development by implementing high-quality learning strategies. It aims to enhance students’ self-awareness, help them discover their talents, and empower them to reach their full potential.

 

Our Guidance Department implements an inclusive, flexible, creative, and curriculum-integrated program designed to meet students’ developmental needs. The program emphasizes prevention, proactive support, and the development of essential life skills.

 

Our goal is for students to graduate as individuals who:

 

• Can express their emotions in appropriate ways,
• Have a strong sense of self-awareness,
• Possess well-developed interpersonal communication skills,
• Can adapt to their surroundings and contribute positively to society,

Our psychological counselors provide individual and group counseling and psycho-education services for students, teachers and parents, and conduct school’s guidance program. The guidance program is carried out in each class at guidance hours once a week under the leadership of class guidance teachers.

 

This program is to be established together with class guidance teachers and students in parallel with the characteristics of the age group and their necessities, and presented to the Guidance Services School Management Committee for approval. Besides these, while teaching the above three learning areas, various documents and programs are used. When felt necessary, people who are experts in these areas are invited to our school.
