The school provides a 5-year high school education from Prep to 12th Grade. Prep year is compulsory.

The level of English expected of students registering to ACI:

 

Students registering at ACI are not expected to know English.

 

Instruction in a foreign language:
 

Apart from Turkish Language and Literature and Social Sciences, all classes are taught in English.

The IB Diploma Programme
 

ACI has been authorized to offer the IB Diploma Program as of 2005.

 

CIS Accreditation

 

The school is the first high school in Turkey to be accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) in 1994. We have been reaccredited by CIS in 2002, 2008 and in 2014.

Criteria for admission to ACI:
 

Students are accepted to ACI through a national central exam named LGS.


An applicant must meet the following conditions to be eligible for the exam:


The applicant must be a Turkish citizen (this includes those from other Turkish Republics living in Turkey) who is actively enrolled in the 8th grade in Turkey. The only exception to this rule is for a foreign-born student who has a resident permit and is actively enrolled in the 8th grade in Turkey.
